Shipping and returns

Shipping

Every piece is made by hand in Ancaster, Ontario, and posted from here. Because nothing is made in advance, the wait is mostly making time rather than delivery time — we will update you with the status along the way.

  • Canada — tracked, 2 to 5 business days once your piece is finished
  • United States — tracked, 5 to 10 business days once your piece is finished
  • Shipping is free on orders over $350

Everything is sent tracked, insured for its full value and requires a signature on delivery. Jewelry is small enough to go missing on a porch, that's why we require signature to ensure its safe delivery.

We do not currently ship outside Canada and the United States. If you are elsewhere and want a piece, write to us — it is usually possible to arrange.

Any customs or import charges on a parcel going to the United States are the recipient's to pay. We cannot calculate these in advance.

Returns and refunds

If something is not right, tell us within 7 days of your piece arriving and we will put it right. What that looks like depends on the piece, because a ring made to your size and a piece that already existed are genuinely different things.

One Of A Kind pieces and our Jewelry stock can be returned within 7 days for a full refund, provided they come back unworn, in their original packaging and proven to be the original piece.

Made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, so they cannot be resold and are not refundable. What we do instead:

  • We will resize a ring once, free, within 30 days
  • If a piece is faulty or not what you ordered, you get a full refund — this always applies as long as it was not a user's error and proven to be the original piece.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5-10 business days of the piece reaching us. Return postage is yours to arrange unless the piece is faulty or we sent the wrong item, in which case we cover it.

Please do not send anything back before writing to us. We will confirm the address and tell you how to pack it — jewelry posted loose in an envelope rarely survives the journey.

If something goes wrong later

Handmade pieces are made to last. If a clasp fails or a stone loosens through normal wear within the first year, we will repair it at no charge.

Beyond that, and for accidental damage, we will always quote for a repair — it is our own work and we would rather mend it than see it in a drawer.
